Ok yes there are reviews saying they have a high waist but put suspenders on them and they are fine. I also have the matching jacket and I did notice some jacket and pants colors didnt match but I was at the store when I picked them up and found the matching colors or dye what ever you call it. But anyways not the thickest so in cold weather need to layer up. I hunt in michigan and texas so here in michigan i layer up and in texas i dont have to. There very water and wind resistant. These pants made it nice for long sits in the treestand and for stalk hunting. bottom line if I have to buy another set hunting close these would be first on my list.

best hunting gear ever, can layer up below 35 degrees and be fine.High waist great, no surprise up drafts.Pants have yellow bright tint ,does not match jacket exactly, maybe dye lot different, but the deer cant tell. Still the most comfortable clothing I have ever purchased..

Okay well first off there are some reviews dogging these pants and i have to say i disagree with most of it i am also prolly a smaller guy them too but so far i love them they are a great product. they are water proof and wind proof and the odor guard in them are amazing! they fit good around the waist and are very comfy i am able to put layers underneith and get around just find and they never have been tight on me. they are so quiet and light which makes great for stalk hunting which i do a lot. yes they are not the best for very cold conditions but if your stalk hunting and even if it is 15 degrees out you wont get cold i did freeze my first day in the stand when it was around 20 degrees but i layered up since then and they are alot better now best early season gear for the money i am planning on buying thicker gear for the cold but still love these pants i wish they had pockets on the thighs though that would make them even better. they have deep pockets that do hold alot can fit a whole bottle of water in there and more! the back pocket is also great too i have a very large wallet and it fits in there fine and the zipper in the back is great wish they had zippers on the front pockets though. great for early season and stock hunting but okay for freezing weather
