Awsome All i can say is awesome. We fish a ton of tournaments and weighing in at just 6.0 oz after over 500 casts a day your arm is not killing you. Bought 1 of each to see how good the superlight is and let me tell ya i now have 10 of them. I have been using Browning reels for years and these are by far the lightest and smoothest. Worth every penny of cost This reel is awesome! I could not believe how smooth and light it was. BPS is showing a low gear (5.4:1). But, it comes in 3 gear ratios. I got the 6.3:1 and love it. I purchased the super light rod as well and I'm telling you can't go wrong with this setup. On first time out with it I caught 3 fish, 1lb, 8oz; 3lb, 2oz and a 4lb, 2oz. All in all, the reel was perfect in landing the fish. The rod was flawless. You will not be wasting your on this reel, nor the rod either. May 19, 2014

A:
The reel itself is superlight therefor it can cast the lighter lures even with the 12# test line.

A:
This reel can be used for lighter lines and lures, but is also strong enough for big bass, which is why it has a 12lb line capacity.
