I always wanted the length and parabolic of a fly rod but to use with a spinning reel so I converted a short 7'6" 5weight and it's been one of my main trout poles. Then I fished next to a guy using this noodle rod and WOW, what a cool rod...and it's the shortest of the noodle rod lineup..9'6"...still plenty long to give that nice bend but with strength! This rod is FUN to catch fish on.... I waffle back and forth if I should've gotten the 10'6" and maybe I'll eventually get it as well, but the one I have now fills the bill just great...and of course, Browning super quality!

This is a very nice rod,i am very happy with the quality of it and plan on many years of use.I purchased it because I love my other noodle rod,9 1/2 foot mitchell, but i am scared to keep using it as they no longer make them which is why i bought this one, only drawback is that i do not think it is soft enough to use 1 or 2 # line as stated,i will stick to 4# ,other than that,A VERY NICE ROD

I use this rod for mostly "float" fishing with a center pin reel and #4 line. Everything works great, the only problem is thats it a 2 pieces rod, ( so it can be hard to out into the car at the end of the day). Better it be a 4 piece.
