This is a good tool, I Ireally like the spring loaded opening feature on the pliers, but the carrying case is a total flop. Every time I sit down, the steel spring( that fits over my belt) slips out of the canvas cover and the tool and cover falls to the ground, ( or worse is lost in the lake)

A bit of a let down. Not the quality that you would expect from the name Browning. Good idea, poor execution. Feels flimsy and not very strong. If you just need a light tool for certain light tasks then this will work, but if you are going to rely on this type of tool for an extreme outing you might want to look into others.

I saw this at Bass Pro and thought it was cool. I have not seen this particular mix of tools on any other fishing multitool. In particular I liked the jig eye cleaner and backlash pick, as I imagined I would use those frequently. Plus it was by Browning which I figured would be a bonus, quality wise. Unfortunately on my very first outing using this tool, less than two weeks after I bought the thing, the pliers broke when I was trying to use it to cut a plastic tie on the packaging of my son's new fishing rod. Most pliers would cut this with no problem. I guess the "cutters" on this tool are strictly for fishing line. Nonetheless, based on previous reviewers' comments as well as my own experience, this tool is definitely not worth the money. I wish I would have read those reviews first before buying it.

This item was a bit of a disapointment, I thought it would have been better due to the Browning name. I was wrong, for the price I should have bought a Leatherman. The tools on these pliers are low quality, the blade barely cuts mono let alone even attempt to cut braid. The pliers are too blunt for me, I like a pointer needlenose. Overall, wish I could send them back.
