This exciting Browning® Fishing Midas Spinning Reel raises the bar for spinning reel technology…the frame, sidecovers, and rotor are all crafted from Carbonite, an advanced carbon fiber material that’s as light as magnesium, as strong as aluminum, and 100% corrosion-proof! Together with the hard brass pinion gear and zinc alloy drive gear, that gives you a finely balanced reel with incredible structural rigidity, assuring long-term precision operation. You’ll fish with confidence, knowing the internals are tight and smooth, the fatigue factor is greatly reduced, and the performance features represent the top of the Browning line. The spool is forged aluminum, ported to reduce weight, with a line-saving titanium nitride coated lip. Features include a stainless steel bail wire, machined low-profile handle, quality 10-bearing system, Powerlock™ instant anti-reverse, and smooth multi-stack stainless/fiber front drag system. Includes FREE forged aluminum spare spool.

Light and smooth I bought the MI25C size reel, I liked it so much I bought another one for my brothers birthday! The reel is smooth and light, I have it mounted on a Carbonlite 69mlf rod and have used it to catch Crappie, Whitebass, Striper, and Bass using roadrunner jigs and plastic minnow baits. The reel does a great job, and I like it!!! September 28, 2011
Expected Better I bought the 10 and the 40 on sale, and have had different problems with both of them. On the 10 (which I use most often), the drag sometimes "sticks at a heavy setting" even though its set very low for trout using 4lb test and a SUL rod. Also, for some reason the line keeps getting wrapped around the bail arm during the cast. I've never had this happen with other reels, and I fish a lot. The only thing I've noticed with the 40 is that it doesn't load the line across the full width of the spool. There's about 1/8" of space between the line and the inside of the forward edge of the spool. June 13, 2010
Fantastic Reel! This reel is super smooth and a great ratio for rubber worm fishing IMO. The drag is great. No problems with good sized largemouth. I have yet to have the bail pop up on me during retrieve or notice any quality concerns, The real is light and when matched to the Browning Hi-Power rod it is a fantastic comb that I would put against any thing in its price range or perhaps a good bit higher. I did purchase the reel in-store and had the chance to test 2 different one. One did feel better to me and I purchased that one. August 28, 2012
awesome! this reel is amazing! best one ive ever owned by far. i spooled it with 6lb berkley fireline and son i tell ya what, it is the smoothest reel i have ever felt. i can fling a rooster tail twice as far as i used to. i put it on a 5'6" bass pro enticer rod and it is pretty well balanced. i have no problem landing smallmouth bass with it. browning always makes high quality gear. not to mention this is the best looking reel on the market! if you are thinking about buying this then i say YES!!!! well worth every penny August 6, 2011
