Wherever you find fishable water, you'll find a reason to put this dependable rod to the test. Every model is strong and sure, with time-honored actions throughout the line. Now laced with boron, the Medallion offers a level of sensitivity unmatched by other rods in its class. Its 40 million boron/graphite matrix blank offers excellent "feel" at the tip with plenty of power to the butt, with aluminum oxide guides, a graphite exposed-blank reel seat, a multi-purpose lure keeper, and premium cork handle.
Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Seems good Read a few good reviews and some poor reviews on thes rods, but I like the handles on these better than the newer versions of spinning rod handles. Would like to see these rods last for around 5 years. The features on these rods is everything that I desire . February 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Madallion Rod I have a Madallion rod I purchased about a year and a half ago. It is a 2 piece rod. I broke the upper section and can't get it repaired or a new upper section. I contacted Browning rods and was told they no longer made the rod I have and don't have anything to fit it. I don't recommend this rod . The rod doesn't have good durability. February 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Geat Rod I bought this in a combo for my wife, got her the MedHeavy 6'6" and it is perfect. Good all around pole with enough backbone to pull in decent size fish. December 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Spinning Rod I have only had my new Browning Medallion rod for a couple of weeks, but have had the opportunity to use it trout fishing on two occasions. This is really a nice ultra light, fast action rod. The lightest hits are detected with this super sensitive rod. A 14" rainbow trout felt like a lunker caught on this 7' ultra light rod. They should handle braid just fine. The spinning rod has the same brand guides with the same material as the trigger rod. I use braid on my Medallion trigger rods.
