One of the lightest, toughest reels in its class, the popular Citori Spinning Reel by Browning is incredibly fun to fish with and destined to outlast most others. The Citori's frame, sidecovers, and rotor are all precision crafted using a space-age injected carbon fiber material (Carbonite) that’s 30% lighter than aluminum, but has similar strength and structural rigidity. Meanwhile, Browning supports the durable body construction with a double-anodized-aluminum spool, stainless steel bail wire, hard brass pinion gear, and rugged zinc alloy drive gear. The quality eight-bearing system includes both double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings and Powerlock™ instant anti-reverse. Smooth stainless/fiber front drag system; machined lightweight handle. All in all, a reel that will travel well, fish strong, and be around for a long time! FREE aluminum spare spool. Left/right-hand retrieve.

Line recovery in inches per handle turn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best spinning real I purchased this spinning reel about a month ago, and let me tell you: this is the best spinning reel ive ever had. If you didnt know, bass pro shops owns browning, so this reel is made by BPS. When comparing this reel to other reels in the same price range, it BLOWS them out of the water. This reel is comparable to much higher priced reels, and it is SUPER SMOOTH. It is smoother than most 200 dollar spinning reels. this thing is just unbelievable for the price. it casts a mile, and reels in the big fish easily. i plan on purchasing a few more soon just to have. ive tested out the browning medallion and the midas also, and in my opinion, the citori is better than both. the citori feels more "solid" and well built than both the midas and the medaillion. if you are looking at spendning around 100 on a reel, GET THE CITORI, if you are looking to spend around 150 on a reel, STILL GET THE CITORI. Rated 5 out of 5 by Browning the best there is Great reel using it for shad run here in montreal Quebec got 8 pound seaguar mono brings them in with lil trouble smooth June 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by good deal i have the ci40 and use it with a bass pro shops bionic blade with 20lb test spiderwire braid and it performs flawless. i have had it for 2 years and it has always been used with 20lb braided line and the drag kinda tight and it takes it like a champ most cheaper reels cant handle that kind of treatment. Rated 4 out of 5 by makes you want to try one Have use this reel twice since buying it. It has work flawlessly . I used 12lb. P-line floraclear line and did not have any tangles with this reel. If it does"nt give me any problems in the future, I surely would purchase another one. The drag was smooth and did"nt have any hesitation on a 5 lb bass that I caught. July 11, 2010

This reel can be used for walleye but I recommend the shimano Stradic for any walleye crankbaits.

A:
This is a smaller reel, and thus set up for smaller line so it may serve better for light line situations. But the reel itself should be able to allow you to catch walleye.
