It took four hours to put together because the top damper was not cast correctly so I had to grind it down. I broke a couple screws and needed to adjust a few things. There was excess ceramic glue all over which I was able to remove with some steel-wool. Some spots got missed with the brown glaze. The MFR responded within 24 hours and will be sending replacements for the first two things. The rest is just cosmetic; I'll live
It weighs 200 lbs but I consider that a plus ; just make sure you have a pickup truck and two people to unload and assemble it.
The next day I cooked a couple steaks, which along with the cast iron smoker chip box (38-624-724-00) and apple chips that I bought (38-614-968-05), came out amazing! When it comes to smoking, low & slow is the key and this grille makes it so easy. This grille holds the heat so well, I only had to use 8-10 briquettes and it stayed a constant 200 degrees for about five hours.
In light of everything, I would still recommend this to a friend.

I have had this Grill for about a year now, it cooks consistent at 250 degrees and produces a very good taste in the meats. Easy to set up, but really heavy so be careful.
