Rated 5 out of 5 Great Pistol. Good performance & Quality
New to guns. Use for target shooting. Quality is excellent. I did alot of research before purchasing a pistol and the Buck Mark offers great value for the for the money. Easy to use. I have the standard grip which fits my hand perfectly. The pistol seems as though it was custom made for me. Would definitely recommend .

Lots of research for an all around 22LR pistol ended with choosing betwenn the Ruger Mark II/III and the Buckmark. Three things caused me to choose the Buckmark: Primarily the feel in my hand, 2nd extra barrel - Buckmark just buy one, Ruger it's like buying another gun (s/n on barrel), 3rd ease of cleaning/reassembly. The Ruger has lots of nooks and crannies in the integrated receiver barrel, and while it does not require tools to reassemble, there are several critical steps that could be missed. The Buckmark is much easier to clean and very straightforward to reassemble.
I purchased the std Camper with std grips. The grips are rubber antislip and fit my hand better than expected. I thought I would change to the URX grip but there is no need. This is the 1st firearm I've owned with a matte finish, and I would have preferred a glossier finish for easier cleaning (more personal preference - not a real big deal).
I've only shot about 70 rounds so far, but have not had a single failure to fire, load, or fire - with bulk Federal ammo. The Federal Bulk has been the most reliable ammo I'[ve found for my Marlin Model 60.
I purchased the Buckmark and Marlin for my son and I to become better shots and my wife to learn how. It's easier to find a place to shoot compared to higher powered stuff.
Apparently other people really like the Buckmark. Searches through various shows and dealers turned up lots of used Rugers but not many Buckmarks, The dealers told me they sell about equal #'s.

After all my research and testing I choose the Buck Mark camper 22. If your grouping are not inside a nickle diameter at 50yds you need to practice, its not the pistol. If you want to up grade your barrel its a no brainer with the Buck Mark as compared to the Ruger's. Simply order or pick one up and you are done, the Ruger requires all the paper work that our goverment can through at you along with weeks if not months of waiting. I choose the standard grip and it works and fits great since I shoot both left and right handed.
