Purchased the 10' 6" (1319770) Noddle Rod in the spring of 2013 and it has exceeded expectations -so far. It has enhance the sporting experience of catching fish. Why? The fish has more ability to resist and uses it to present more of a challenge. Example - Red Drum fishing before noddle rod - rod with flexible tip and some mid rod flex, 20lb test line, 3 to 4 oz wgt.- - - compared to Noddle Rod - complete rod flexibility, 6 lb test line, 1/2oz wgt (max). In short - - - less between you and the fish. Worked for me. . .

I always wanted the length and parabolic of a fly rod but to use with a spinning reel so I converted a short 7'6" 5weight and it's been one of my main trout poles. Then I fished next to a guy using this noodle rod and WOW, what a cool rod...and it's the shortest of the noodle rod lineup..9'6"...still plenty long to give that nice bend but with strength! This rod is FUN to catch fish on.... I waffle back and forth if I should've gotten the 10'6" and maybe I'll eventually get it as well, but the one I have now fills the bill just great...and of course, Browning super quality!
