I use the light mostly for checking out wildlife at night. With the blue tinted beam shining at night and lack of distance it is hard to tell what the animals are at night. After 150+- yards at night all you see is eyes. This light is almost double the cost of the old Q Beam lights that were 3 million candle power and when used beside one it make you hate this light!! Also the red light is only good for 10-20 feet on mine. I would never recommend this product, only wished I would have returned it last year when I first used it!!

I bought two for a weekend of flounder fishing with my son last November. They keep a charge for a long time and survived a couple of drops on the tile floor. A good deal in my opinion.

120-Volt AC ChargerTo Charge Spotlight:
Step 1: Make sure the trigger switch is not locked ON.
Step 2: Plug the AC charger directly into bottom of spotlight handle. Note: L.E.D. Indicator light will turn on when battery is charging. Always Allow Battery to Fully Charge
Step 3: For AC Charger - L.E.D. indicator will automatically turn off when battery is fully charged. Do not charge longer than 24 hours.
To Prevent Damage to Spotlight and Battery:
• Battery is ready to use when purchased - DO NOT recharge before
first use.
• Do not attempt to use spotlight while charging. Doing so may cause
damage to battery and chargers.
• Only use charging devices that are provided with the Q-Beam LED
Rechargeable Spotlight or its replacements.
• Do not allow battery to completely discharge. A dim light indicates a
low battery. Recharge battery as soon as possible after each use.
• Always keep the battery fully charged when not in use.
• For best results, fully charge battery after each use. This will prolong
the overall life of the battery.
• Dry location use only

Why the Different Run Times? One line says 10 hours and a few lines down it says something different...How Come?

the red night vision don't use the more powerful white light so when u use the red light it don't use nearly as much battery and will last alot longer and from what you say its ten hours and then using the regular spot light should run like 1 to 2 hours before needing recharged. hope this helps
