Rated 5 out of 5 by IshLex great smoker
I am on my 2nd electric smoker and love it. I used the Brinkman charcoal smoker for years and then discovered the ease of the electric model .It produces meat and fish just as smokey and delicious as the charcoal ones. This one I purchased was a wedding gift for a favorite nephew. I gave one as a gift several years ago to another nephew also and he still uses it.

I've been using this thing for a few weeks now and it's working really well for me. it does a great job for the money.
Things to be aware of:
-it's a smoker, so don't expect it to go above 210 degrees.
-the heat element has only one setting/not adjustable.
-there is no thermometer on the smoker, so you will need to get an aftermarket one to ensure your smoker is heating up to cooking temperature.
I'm happy with mine for the money. If you're going to be using your smoker more than once a week, I'd recommend you purchase a higher end model than this. If you're like me and using it only occasionally though, this smoker is a pleasure to use.

This is a great little "smoker". It's actually called barbeque, and this electric unit does it well. The hardest part about using this unit is preparing the food and then waiting till it's done cooking.
Throw some warm water in the water pan with a little red wine or beer, close the unit up, put on your wood chips and plug it in. Once you see smoke, put the meat on and let it go. It is that easy.
