can't get it tight enough, every time I try putting bow on it , bow turns thing so bow is on ground, may have to weld it. I wounld try some thing else

I bought this as a compact bow holder for my new blind. It comes with a T-handle tightener that I could not turn tight enough with my bare hands to keep my bow from wrenching the holding mechanism under the weight of the bow. Next time, I will just buy a simpler fixed position holder.

Good product but had to make some modifications. The mfg. has realized that the fork will not tighten sufficiently without adding 4 internal tooth grip washers. There were 2 taped to the outside of the package when I received the product and instructions to call them to get the other 2. Too much hassle for a couple of washer so I picked some up at the local hdw. store. That did the trick for the bow fork. Also had to add some tape to the base tube to prevent rattling due to a loose fit with the holder tube. Once the modifications were made the product worked great. It held the bow very well and was quiet. Have taken my first 2 deer from a blind using this holder for my bow. Oh and here is a tip. Tape some extra washers to the holder tube. They are small and would be easy to lose in the field when you change the bow fork from the vertical (carrying position) to the horizontal position for use.

Absolutey the best ground blind bow holder on the market. I've been ground blind hunting for the last 6-7 years and tried a lot of bow holders and either they wouldn't hold the bow or they would tip over in my blind.
Bow Jaws' no tip square base will not tip. I've hunted in sand, clay and extremely wet ground and once you stick the base in the ground it can't tip because the square base is what supports your bow.
Another great feature is that your grip of your bow will sit at hand level when you are sitting in your blind.
I hunt out of 4 different blind set-ups and the bases are in place before I even get to my blind. I simply have to insert the universal piece once I get there. NO TOOLS, just a button spring to put the universal on the base.
I also have 6 tree stands I hunt out of and I have Bow Jaws platform bases in all of them and take the universal with me when I go to those stands and I have a bow holder for every hunting spot I have.
