Since Dinsmore changed over to egg-shaped weights, it's been so hard to find non-toxic round split shot. This little dial set is just what I needed. If you're into precision nymphing, you're constantly changing weights on-stream, and fiddling with lead all over you're fingers and rea all day isn't a healthy thing. I also don't use lead because waterfowl will eat them, making the ducks and geese more toxic to hunt and eat, as well as sometimes poisoning them. I don't care for egg shaped weights in some kinds of current conditions, because the egg shape will tend to orient itself a certain way, whereas the round shape doesn't care how the rig is oriented to the current. For a while after Dinsmore went to the egg it was impossible to find round non-toxic split shot, but I found these a while back and they have been working out great! Thanks for making them available.
