I purchased one of these to see how well they were made. When it arrived I found it to be very well made and well thought out. This tripod head has some very good features. The top plate of the head is very sturdy. The three pipes receptacles hold 1- 5/8” pile legs and have a bolt with a wing nut head that holds the legs in place while you stand the tripod up. It also came with a pulley attached to the center of the top plate and an eye-bolt to the side. This allows you to attach the hook of the wench to the eye-bolt and run a 2-pulley system thus reducing the felt weight during the lift. I was impressed enough that I purchased 3 more.

I'm pleased with the quality of the header - good welds and finish. Makes filling the feeder a piece of cake.
