Boss Buck's Gravity/Protein Deer Feeder has a 1200-lb. capacity hopper with a 3/8'' thick wall of HDPE UV-protected plastic that won't rot, rust or leak. The patented feeding head provides the most moisture-resistant free choice feeding system available. The feeder's patented design has an internal cone that dispenses the feed evenly to the four feed ports. An adjustable height inner sleeve allows you to control the feed flow of almost all feed shapes and sizes. A double-walled, domed, hinged lid is oversize to allow the hopper system to breathe and eliminate condensation. Our hatch lid's loose design ventilates the hopper to achieve ambient temperature faster than steel or fiberglass feeders. Converts from Protein feeder to Automatic feeder in minutes (Auto Conversion Kit sold separately). Made in USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Couldn't ask for a better Protein Feeder! We have one of these Boss Buck 1200LB Protein Feeders on our property so far. We also have two of the next size down from this one. You couldn't ask for a better protein feeder than this. We've had the feeders 3 or 4 years and they look like they did the day we bought them. They are extremely durable and are built to last. The deer aren't spooked by them AT ALL. The only problem we ever have is keeping them full. March 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Boss Buck 1,200# deer feeder This is an excellent product. Best of the best & I have used them all. One of the only feeders with this kind of capacity. Deer were working me to death keeping 300# gravity feeders full. They would clean it out in 5-7 days. I can go a full month before having to refill this one. You can buy the Boss Buck conversion kit & turn this gravity feeder to a timed spin cast feeder. Easy to do. I use it as a gravity feeder to keep deer on my farm during the off season & convert it to a spin cast feeder during hunting season to keep the deer feeding times on my schedule. High enough up to keep Hogs out. Has lifetime warranty. Very durable product. June 13, 2011

Definately Hog proof. Has adjustable legs. Purchase the feet that go on the bottom & steak it off so they cant tump over. We have 350 plus # hogs & they cant get to it.
