A Good Buy I decided to put a marine radio in my Jeep which runs topless and without doors at least 10 months a year. After reading mixed reviews on these I decided it was worth the chance. Install was easy and straight forward. Some minor mods required for the face to fold down (trim bezel had to be trimmed on jeep so face would fold down) Sound is great, especially for the money. Reception is Good. And after my first major rain I had no problems. To add to it the kids like the blue lighted face at night. July 15, 2013
Sharp looking! Like others, I read mixed reviews on this set, but decided there were enough good reviews and gave it a try because of the price and the looks. Have it installed only for a day, but love the looks and the sound! Will try it tomorrow with the boat running on the bay and give another review when I get back. So far loving this radio. Great system I read several reviews on here, and they did somewhat concern me with the comments concerning quality, etc. I decided to go ahead and purchase the system anyway. I installed it and have used it two full days on the water while pulling tubes. It sounded great! Sometimes, I think people have too high of an expectation. I knew I was not buying a window rattling sound system, but this one comes close and performs just as expected for the price. If you want the boat hull to make waves at each thump of the bass, then this is not your system. Otherwise you cannot beat it for the price. June 21, 2013
Great value for the $ Sounds great!! Compared to my buddy's that costs about 500 more then what I bought you can't tell the difference. May 20, 2013
