Rated 5 out of 5Â by gullwing great sound
Wiring was easy to do. Everything was labeled very well. Sounds real good on my 17 foot bass boat. I'm glad I bought it. Have spent more money on much less performance. Geat sound for the money. The backlight looks great at night and surprisingly good base comes out of the storage box I have one of the speakers mounted in.
Would buy the same stereo again.

I can only blame myself. A $79 radio.
Installed. Used on lake several weeks after installation. Past 30 day return period before I tried the unit.
Waste of money!!!

I paid a marine installer $ to install the stereo & speakers, but the stereo did not work. He checked it and determined that plenty of amps were getting to the stereo, but the stereo wouldn't even turn on. I then had to pay $8.00 to send it back to Bass Pro and am awaiting a new stereo as I type. I hope there is not an issue and it is sent out promptly or you will see an additional angry post from me.

This stereo combo is designed to function for marine use, meaning that it is made to withstand wet conditions. The speakers are manufactured using neoprene rather than cardboard, and the internal components of the head unit are also protected by a neoprene membrane. However, if continuously exposed to water or submerged the unit will cease to function.Answers

We do not offer a Boss Marine Stereo/Speakers in Black. In addition, you might refer to Boss Audio for black units.http://www.bossaudio.com/marine-pro...

I am replacing a worthless Clarion stereo that was in the boat when I bought it.Answers

This stereo has wiring to hook up Front and Rear speakers. You should have no problem installing the new ones and hook to either the Front or Rear, as well as hook it up to your existing speakers.Answers
A:Â
It will come with an external antenna wire that plugs into the back of the stereo, but you will have to either purchase a separate antenna or just mount the wire somewhere.A:Â
External AntennaMRANT10 dipole antenna is a hide-away Soft Wire Antenna, is designed for the Marine Environment, rust proof, and simply plugs into your stereo and is ready to go.
