the viper bore snake is so simple, good, fast and easy. i now have the 12 gauge and .44 sizes. there are now no excuses for a dirty barrel.

price cant be beat in aus.
its not too different from the old boresnake but i do like the nylon bushing that help feeds it into the gun, it tends to be less liekly to get hung up on the rifle, when feeding it into the bore.
also it centres better and i dont feel i am polishing the corner of chamber un-evenly with the first tug
good item.

At this time (10/2/11) we do not carry the BoreSnake for the 338WM. You may want to check with your local Bass Pro Shops retail location or with Hoppe's for this item.Answers

Remember many caliber/gauges share the same diameter. Such as .410 gauge is the same diameter as=45-70, .45acp, .45 long colt, .45 Russian, and etc. Use your reloading guide to figure out which of your guns share the same diameter and buy a Boresnake that will accommodate your longest barrel in that diameter. I never by the pistol length Boresnake. I always get the equivalent diameter in the rifle length, which covers all my weapons sharing that diameter. Plus, one pull of a rifle length "snake" through your pistol's barrel and your done.
