This is a perfect fines bait for smallmouth! I use the 5/16oz. paired up with a 2.5 inch Yum Craw Papi, and this is the best lure I have found to use as a follow up bait. I fish extremely clear water, and I use jerkbaits through out most of the season, and when the smallmouth won't commit to the jerkbait, I drop this jig down to the bottom and they eat it every time!!! The best follow up bait i have used to this day!

This is a pretty small jig, so I was wondering what some good trailers are for it? More specifically the pbj colorAnswers

check out the NetBait paca chunk craws. they are great. there are 3 different sizes and their color choices are amazing. I'm sure you will find something that fits your jigTop 250 Contributor

The 2.75 inch Yum Craw Papi is the best trailer to pair up with this jig. I like to cut off roughly a 1/4 of an inch, so when I rig the Craw Papi onto the hook, the head of the bait is just past the bend of the jig hook. There are several colours that will match up to the PB&J skirt colour. I hope this helps and good luck to you on the water!1 of 1
