On the 3rd throw of the 56 color (I think) I was reeling it in average speed and the skirt fell off in the water on the way to the boat. Didn't hit any rocks or sticks and surely didn't receive any bites.
I have one more of these lures in a different color, hopefully the first impression will not be the rememberable one.
This site has great customer service. I got my refund with absolutely no hassle.

I was a little skeptical about using a spinnerbait to catch fish, let alone bass, but after reading more about it in my North American Fishing Club books that I got, I decided to give a spinnerbait a try. I picked the bright yellow one (lightening yellow bug) because that was apparently very attractive to fish in murky/muddy waters. And it helped them see the bait easier too! Anyways, I picked this up during my trip at Shad Landing, and fished it yesterday (5/5/2011) And the resultes blew me away!! I caught my first catfish in years!! (my last 16-inch catfish was when I was 16 yrs old and I was using just plain nightcrawlers and a regular big hook.) First one, too, after I rebaited the hook with nightcrawler and instantly got a beautiful, blue channel catfish. And the bites never stopped after I kept fishing with it. But unfortunately I did end up losing my only one to a tree log. :( But I, however, will continue to keep stocking my tackle bag with these awesome spinnerbaits!! I love this spinnerbait!! I'm not going to use anything else for murky/muddy waters. Especially when the fish are being finicky. Thank you Bass Pro for selling these Spinnerbaits!!

bought two of these, colours #56, #59.
caught in one day about 20 saratoga (arowana) here in australia.
fished 56# till had no eyes and no skirt left, then put 2" grub and still caught fish. UNREAL BAIT!!!
compact size catches everything, and smaller size of bait helps eliminate fish hitting blades and missing hook-ups.
