Did the job for me in making 9" to 12" Wire leaders. The draw back is that my tool was not able to lock closed to allow more space when storing.

Purchased the Boone Delux Crimping Tool and after about 10 crimps one of the crimping jaws snapped off and flew like a bullet across the room.

I probably made ten or fifteen crimps before one of the jaws broke off.

This tool looks and feels great, but just after a few weeks of pretty constant use, one jaw broke off clean. Maybe it was a weak spot in the casting or something, but I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a heavy duty tool. Weekend warriors should be fine.
