Don't miss out on the unbeatable results this all-time classic Bomber® Slab Spoon produces. The Slab Spoon's wide profile shape is timeless and its proven colors make it a deadly multi-species lure. Whether you’re casting for schooling fish or vertical jigging, the Slab Spoon's heavy weight allows it to get in the strike zone quickly and stay there. Effective in fresh and saltwater for white bass, striped bass, lake trout, walleye and largemouth and smallmouth bass.

Great White Bass and Hybrid Spoon I have used this spoon for many years, and it has caught literally tons of fish, in particular white bass and hybrids (white bass/striped bass cross). I add a small spinner blade to the split ring, which I think gives the spoon an added flash and vibration. That said, it works great right out of the box. August 11, 2014
Stripers with bombers These slab spoons are a great option when chasing schools of stripers......I use them to probe beneath surfaced schools; usually catching larger fish beneath the active ones on the surface. I believe the larger fish are eating crippled shad; and the slabs can be dropped down into the larger fish. Solid hook-ups, and the quality of the treble hooks on the bombers is very good. Pretty good stuff for the price I bought a couple of these slaps to go sand-bass fishing. My fav ended up being ones with silver flakes. I found that the 1 oz. ones are better for drop fishing and the lighter ones case a little easier. Whatever your chose of fishing, these slabs are pretty awesome and for the price, you can’t go wrong. One note of caution, make sure you have a good knot on it…and hang on for a good fight. Catches Everything I have several different colors in different sizes, and have found an application for one or another in every fishing situation. These things cast a mile, even the 1/4 ounce, and have a great wobble action on the retrieve. The finishes are good, and the slab spoon even performs well as the finish gets knocked off. I have caught large mouth and small mouth bass, yellow perch, steelhead, bluegill and even a catfish with these things. Very versitile lure, and one does not need a lot of "finesse" abilities to fish these spoons. Just throw the thing out there and real it back. Good fishing! January 7, 2013

I'm thinking a rapala knot or any kind of loop knot should give it a more natural swim.

A basic hangman's knot works great, but I usually attach a small snap swivle to aleviate any line twist if retrieved too quickly.
