Don't miss out on the unbeatable results this all-time classic Bomber® Slab Spoon produces. The Slab Spoon's wide profile shape is timeless and its proven colors make it a deadly multi-species lure. Whether you’re casting for schooling fish or vertical jigging, the Slab Spoon's heavy weight allows it to get in the strike zone quickly and stay there. Effective in fresh and saltwater for white bass, striped bass, lake trout, walleye and largemouth and smallmouth bass.

The Best Slab I use the chartreuse Bomber slab on Lake Livingston when fishing for white bass. Its good for trolling as well as vertical jigging. Its a proven producer, and the chartreuse is the color of choice in this application. Sometimes the white and chrome do okay too. August 9, 2010
Catches Everything I have several different colors in different sizes, and have found an application for one or another in every fishing situation. These things cast a mile, even the 1/4 ounce, and have a great wobble action on the retrieve. The finishes are good, and the slab spoon even performs well as the finish gets knocked off. I have caught large mouth and small mouth bass, yellow perch, steelhead, bluegill and even a catfish with these things. Very versitile lure, and one does not need a lot of "finesse" abilities to fish these spoons. Just throw the thing out there and real it back. Good fishing! January 7, 2013
AMAZING These slab spoons are amazing for white bass and wipers. My 5 year old can catch fish on them. They are so versitile as either a jigging spoon, casting, or trolling. I found BPS pricing to be about 50 cents each cheaper than where I was getting them. You will go throuth them though they are a hunk of lead with a trebblie hook. Buy plenty and hang on for the fun. Make sure you use a good quaility swivel or you will have a ton of line twist after the first cast. I have a few with most of the paint chipped off and they still catch fish. March 17, 2011
Nugget of goodness These little jobs are just incredible for picking up natural trout down in the river. I use the 1/4 oz in chrome and blue scale. The finishis durable as all get out and it comes with some super-sticky hooks. Best of all is the cross section of this "spoon". It's almond shaped and as such it has a unique wobble and incredible flash. Best of al it casts about a mile. Throw it out, let it sink in the current and then yo-yo it back to you. by lifting the rod tip and pumping down. May 22, 2009

I'm thinking a rapala knot or any kind of loop knot should give it a more natural swim.

A basic hangman's knot works great, but I usually attach a small snap swivle to aleviate any line twist if retrieved too quickly.

I use a triple surgeons loop knot. It does really good for me . I'm sure there are better ones out there but I can remember how to tie this one really easy . Good Luck !
