Bomber®'s Model A® crankbaits are a little slimmer, a little trimmer, wiggle a little harder and faster, and dive a little deeper than other ordinary crankbaits. The Model A's timeless design and unbeatable fish-catching action ensures these proven go-to-cranks produce results every time they swim. Plus, the Model A floats up quickly on the pause -- a major tempter of big fish.

B02A 2-1/8", 1/4 oz., dives 2'-4', hook size #6.
B04A 2-1/8", 5/16 oz., dives 3'-6', hook size #6.
B05A 1-7/8", 1/5 oz., dives 4'-6', hook size #6.
B06A 2-1/8", 3/8 oz., dives 6'-8', hook size #6.

Bomber Model A Hardbaits 4.8 5 99 99
proof is in the pic During mid summer on an undisclosed lake in the midwest, my uncle, cousing and myself bagged over 50lbs of Bass. A mix of large and small mouth. The best day of fishing I've ever had came on a Bomber 4A. It was two days after a storm and a normally clear lake was muddy. We fished a chartruese colored 4A along the shorline bouncing it off the rocks to a drop off and nailed fish like crazy. I use the shad color in clear water and get really good results as well. A must for a tackle box. March 4, 2008
Excellent Crankbaits These baits run true, have sharp hooks and best of all they catch fish! You can't beat a Bomber for the price. I have purchased several Bomber Model 6A's they are one of my favorite crankbaits along with the Rapala DT series. Buy them you won't be disappointed. May 2, 2009
Glad I gave this lure a try! Trying to shake off a case of cabin fever, I hit the water on one of my favorite spots, Lake Elkorn located in Columbia, Maryland. This place really gets choked up with Hydrilla and Milfoil during the summer, so early spring is the best time to use crankbaits with dangling trebles. I read a few articles about these Bomber® Model A lures, so I decided to try my luck with one in the dark green crawfish pattern. Since it was early spring, the water temps were only in the 40's. Regardless of the chilly water, this scrappy 1 pounder hanging on some rip-rap came out to play! May 16, 2009
Old Faithful If you want a bait that catches fish on a consistant basis, this is the crankbait to have in your tackle box. Fish it slow, fish it fast, rip it,or troll it. I was bass fishing with it and caught 2 citation crappie by accident.the same day. I have even caught pan fish with it. I always make sure I have 6 or more in my box everytime I fish. I have had great success with the Baby Bass color. March 13, 2010

Well, Mr. Lurecollector, looks like you have been waiting a while for an answer to your question about Storm Warts or the Bomber. Perhaps, you have formulated and answer on your own by now. But, for me, it depends on the depth I'm fishing. Both are good in the 5-6ft range, but Bomber has so many more options for deeper water like the 7A (8-10ft# and 8A #10-12ft).

In my opinion the color options that are offered by Bomber is much better. I do own wiggle warts and they just don't seem to produce fish as much as bombers do...So yes the Model A is a better crankbait in my opinion.

it just depends on the size you pick... I like Bomber in windy/dirty water conditions - Rapala in calm/clear water.

The action on the rod does not matter that much but I use a medium action. A dark color would be good for the lure but also look at the bait fishes color to determine color.

A medium action rod is best for my style of fishing a Bomber, hitting a underwater structure and popping the lure into action in a darting type retrieve is best for setting the hooks on the strike

I use a 7'mm pro glass crankbait rod..if you mean dark stained water and not muddy I like the fire tiger or black pearl. In northern tanic stain I always get some black on my baits if shad are present. Firetiger is good if yellow perch are present

Medimum action rod works well. As a rule, I catch more fish on dark colored lure in darker or stained water. A crawfish pattern in dark green is my favorite
