Bomber®'s Model A® crankbaits are a little slimmer, a little trimmer, wiggle a little harder and faster, and dive a little deeper than other ordinary crankbaits. The Model A's timeless design and unbeatable fish-catching action ensures these proven go-to-cranks produce results every time they swim. Plus, the Model A floats up quickly on the pause -- a major tempter of big fish.
If I had but one lure to use from now on, it would be a Model A Bomber. I've caught all types of fish on it.

This crank ran true right out of the package with a nice tight wobble to it. In Tennessee shad, first time out with it, I caught a good size chain pickerel. Next time out first couple of casts a largemouth hits it. Overall just a quality lure and now my go to.

This crank bait produces more Sand Bass (White Bass) than any other single bait I have used. It consistently catches fish. I have caught two at a time on it (one on each hook).

Reliable as ever
I have been trolling with Bomber Model A's for many years. They run true out of the box and are very durable. We catch allot of stripers and walleye on the firetiger and baby striper patterns. Won't go trolling without them.

Well, Mr. Lurecollector, looks like you have been waiting a while for an answer to your question about Storm Warts or the Bomber. Perhaps, you have formulated and answer on your own by now. But, for me, it depends on the depth I'm fishing. Both are good in the 5-6ft range, but Bomber has so many more options for deeper water like the 7A (8-10ft# and 8A #10-12ft).
In my opinion the color options that are offered by Bomber is much better. I do own wiggle warts and they just don't seem to produce fish as much as bombers do...So yes the Model A is a better crankbait in my opinion.
I use a 7'mm pro glass crankbait rod..if you mean dark stained water and not muddy I like the fire tiger or black pearl. In northern tanic stain I always get some black on my baits if shad are present. Firetiger is good if yellow perch are present
