The Shad's nose-down attitude in the water positions the hooks behind its large body, further avoiding snags. The Fat-Free Shad's design makes it ideal for working mid-depth brush piles, stumps, rock piles, drop-offs, ledges and the like. Use it around any structure that holds bass. The Bomber Fat Free Shad combines the wobble and profile of the original Fat Free Shad but, with the addition of a square lip, it has become much more snag resistant.

Rated 4 out of 5 Crank bait The Bomber Fat Free Shad Deep Square Lip has real good action. The square lip really bounces off underwater structure and keeps the hooks from hanging on grass. i can really control the depth and fill the lure bouncing off grass and stumps. I caught several good black and kentucky bass with this lure. April 30, 2013
