Bohning Blazer Vanes
simple to use
these fletchings are easy to use just slip them on and put them in hot water for a few second. the problem I has was trying to get them to shrink the same distance from the end of the shaft. no big deal unless u like all your arrows to look the same like I do. but I start the things out in the same spot but they shrink differntly keep getting differnt distances. the arrows fly good like I said just I like my arrows to look like I know what im doing when I build my arrows. and I do like to build my own arrows.

Are very user friendly and as advertised. I'll never fletch with conventional fletchings again.

Better than before
To start I have used the shrink fletch before and it was horrible. The fletching fell off and the wraps tore after a couple of shots. I was leary about trying the Blazers in the shrink fletch but I gave it a go anyway. The product has gotten better. I have put at least a 100 shots on the Blazer shrink fletch and nothing has come loose yet. They are easy to install and do not fall apart like the shrink fletch predecessor. Definitely an easy way to refletch and its durable as well.

They do what they say it does...
Simple to use and work exactly as claimed. Just bring your water to a rolling boil and submerge slowly. DON't REMOVE IT FROM HEAT!!! The water will cool and they may not apply properly. I dip them for around 12 to 15 seconds or so. Shake them off, and shoot the things. You MUST COMPLETELY REMOVE all glues and oils from the arrow shaft. I use alcohol and cotton ball for this after carefully scraping the arrow shaft first. Immediately my groups got tighter with these. Went from 5 to 7 inch groups to and consistent 3 to 4 at 40 yards They hold up pretty well to use also. My practice set of arrows have been fired at least 300 time each since these were added, and show no real damage at all through a Bear Method at 70 lbs.. Whisker Biscuits are hard on vanes, but other than slight scuff marks from them passing through it so many times they're perfect, and shoot as well today as they did out the box. When applied correctly they are outstanding!
