Rated 5 out of 5 by Quick & Easy DIY Very easy to do and they look great too! It puts just enough color on the end of your arrow you can find it easier. It only took minutes to do. I'll do this for my arrows from now on. December 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Too Good to be true I have bowhunted for 25 years and have always used a 4" feather. After the bow shop in my town closed I decided to give these a try. As the title says these are too good to be true. The application is easy and my groups have tightened up considerably. When applying first take a medium grit sandpaper and roughen up the application area slightly then clean thoroughly. The secret to good adhesion is having a large deep pot for the water. Be sure the pot is deeper than the wrap is long and bring the water to a ROLLING BOIL for about a minute. Slide the wrap on and slowly dip it in the water. I let it stay in for 15 seconds before removing. I applied the wraps to 6 arrows about 6 weeks ago and have shot each arrow at least 100 times and the wraps have held up extremely well. The only tear was caused by another running in on the shaft of an arrow already in the target. After this happened I took an X-acto knife and out the loose area which was about the size of a pea, I then put one drop of fletching cement in the exposed area and rubbed it around the edges of the torn area which were still glued down. After letting the arrow dry it flies just like the others. This is a GREAT product you will not be sorry. Also arrows are shot through a QAD drop arrow on a Martin Onza 3 pulling 72 lbs. Rated 2 out of 5 by They are ok Followed the directions and all looked well. After shooting the arrows these were put on about 4 time they began too slide forward on impactwith the target. I cant recommend these if they are going to do that with only a couple shot. These were shot from a recurve bow with 29 lbs pull. November 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy repeat purchase I have been using these vanes for a few years now and love them. They hold up very well and easy to put on. No more trips to the archery shop! September 25, 2012

When applied correctly they are outstanding. After at least 300 shots mine show little to no wear even passing though a Whisker Biscuit. What wear it does show are just slight scuff marks from passing though my rest, but they shoot as true as the day they were applied. With a drop away rest even scuffs go out the window. I have had absolutely no issues with these being fired out of a high velocity bow,(Bear Method 340 fps). No rips, cracks,or tearing. Just make sure you complete strip your old vanes off and clean all glue from them of. I use my pocket knife and scrape carefully. Use alcohol to clean any oils from your fingers off the shaft. Then just follow the directions. Hope this helps brother. Good luck in the Fall.

I've shot my arrows about a half a dozen times now and they still look as good as they did when I first put them on there. Maybe the water wasn't hot enough to shrink them down. I dipped mine very slowly into a tall thermos until it was completely submerged and then held it there for a few more seconds.

I fletched 6 arrows about 6 weeks ago and have shot each arrow over 100 times and have had no problems with adhesion. had a small tear from impact from another arrow. I put a drop of fletching cement on the tear and the problem was solved.

I have been using them for about 2 years and i have never had a problem with them falling apart. So far i get about 500-1000 shots out of them but it is generally due to hitting a vain downrange and clipping it off before i have to replace them.
