I've shot a lot of different vanes over the last 25 years but none have performed like the Bohning Blazer Vanes. My groups are exceptional and broadhead flight is unmatched by anything that I have used in the past. I would reccomend them for any archer / bowhunter who are looking for performance.

I have been using these for years and have been very pleased with their performance. I was hesitant at first but became a believer in a short time. Excellent stability for broadheads!

I just purchased all new gear for the 2012 2013 deer seasons. My constant practice with my new equipment put some wear on my arrow vanes. Decided to replace my self and chose the Bohning Blazer vanes in 2 inch 5 grains. All my arrows fly true and I believe the blazer vanes are the reason. They are very easy to work with and very durable I won't use any thing else for the type of hunting I do.

I've heard you get better flight/control with an offset instead of a helical? How much of an offset?
Answers
A:Â
Don't know if it helps but i was told by bp staff that it depends greatly on ur set up......i shoot a hoyt ultraelite at 60LBS and 27.5" draw and was told not to put any helical, just the slightest offset if anything at all.........hope this helps save some possible frustration and maybe bad reviewsA:Â
i prefer helical. reason being. when the arrow clears the string, you get more spin to stabilize the arrow. i have noticed much tighter shot groups this way.A:Â
2 degree with 100 grain Muzzy Broadhead. MX3 or Muzzy 3 blade. I line my Vanes with the blades of Broadhead. It will hit same as field tips.Answers

Yes.These vanes will work on crossbow bolts. It should increase speed a little if you use the 4" vanes.Details:Â
I know they are shorter and weight less which means they are great if you hunt out west because you can lighten your arrow, but what are the other differences or benefits you get from the blazer vanes?Answers
A:Â
You really answered your own question.. thats just about the only benefits I can think is different frrom a blazer. I know I love mine and wouldn't shoot any other fletching on my arrows thoughTop 500 Contributor

They have less air resistance which means they will fly straighter and spin faster. They are also more durable due to the stiffness. duravanes have too much drag when shooting a through style rest also.1 of 1
