My friends have been catching crappie for weeks on this bait. I caught seven bass the day I fished it. It would be interesting to put these on an Alabama rig. I'd like a ten inch plastic worm in this color.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by slabslappin1957 great way to catch crappie
This bait works when the crappie aren't hitting anything else. If you want to catch alot of crappie then you need some bobby garland baby shad in your tackle box.

I used to always use tube jigs to catch crappie at my local lake, But ever since I switched over to Bobby Garland's baby shad I havent got skunked on a day out in two years! I love these things, and everyone at my local lake has seen me using them off of our dock and always ask what im using. I live in a small town with a relatively small lake and couple of years ago nobody would fish because they said "there arent any fish in the lake" and now every morning and every night the docks are packed! My all time favorite colors are Blue/Pearl, Purple mist, Screamer, Electric Chicken, and Pink Phantom. Just try to hold one and keep the tail from wiggling, its impossible and tis action is why they catch so many fish. Thay also last a long time, I have actually caught over 50 crappie on a single bait without having to replace it. Try that with your Tube Jigs.
