Rated 3 out of 5 by Good looking and durable, but.... This product is attractive and durable, but I just could not get the suction cups to work effectively. I pulled them off and added double sided outdoor mounting tape. Works great and looks good. Recommendation - loose the suction cups. May 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by ok overall happy just dont count on the suction cups working need to glue them on or screw in in April 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by hold well They work better than I thought they would. I added some weight to them to see how strong they would bee and it had no problems. April 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by very sturdy Very sturdy item, the suction cups suck, so I put velcro on the back of the holder and on the boat side at the floor to allow it to sit right on the floor next to the seats front and back. (Bass Cat Pantera 2) and it worked very well. If I ever want them off for storage or to do maint. all I have to do is remove the velcro and no marks or screw holes. Overall a good product, would recommend it to a friend. Don't forget the velcro.... March 15, 2013

A:
You could screw these in to wood. You would have to make some axess holes through the holder to do so. The holder would still work fine. I have considered doing this myself.

Sure, but try velcro first if the area is smooth enough to allow it to grab.

This is a suction cup mount but you might be able to rig it to screw into wood.

In the picture, the suction cups are set up to stick to a verticle surface. I would like to put it on my dash.
