I always use ultrta light spinning gear for my crappie excursions. I had my doubts about this little plastic reel, but for 6$, I figured what the heck. Was I suprised! I caught my limit in a little over 2 1/2 hours! This little plastic reel held up to a 14 1/2" FAT female!! And all the others as well. I will be getting a couple more so I don't have to re-tie when I switch between plastic and hand ties. Totally worth $6!

It is not a casting reel, it is for Crappie fishing, just drop the line in. It only holds 20 yards of line.Answers

i think they say it can ,,,,but i'm gonna say not. I'm left handed but have gotten so used to fishing right handed that it does'nt bother me. I have 4 of these reels and i think i recall taking it apart and moving the handle on the other side but something was'nt quite right abuot it?A:
