The tight minnow action of the balsa wood Blue Fox® Vibrax® Minnow Spin® combined with the enticing flash of an in-line spinner makes this a deadly combination.

A must have lure This lure is one of the lures every fisherman should own it has great action and a great realistic look. In shallow water cast near submerged structures and reel slow but fast enought to stay above the grass line. In deep water use the same steps but let the lure sink after casting and reel with a bit more speed. After months of use the paint may start to chip but I am very pleased with this lure and it is one that should always be in your tackle box. June 19, 2010
dynomite lure!!! I live in East TN and fish the Clinch River for big trout. On the first cast with the 1/4 oz silver/black I hooked a nice 20" rainbow, two casts later a nice 15" and then towards the end of the day a 24" brown that weighed in at 6.5 lbs. Wow, this was the first time I ever used this thing, I was impressed! Next outing I tried it for smallmouth, three casts, three smallies. I'm in love with this lure. Killer lure! March 7, 2007
Best Trout Lure Ever! I use these lures on the Hiwassee River in Polk County, TN. My fishing buddies and I have caught thousands of trout using these lures. We also catch the other species of fish in the sections of the Hiwassee we fish like smallmouth, crappie, and yellow perch. It swims perfectly and does not get hung up on the rocks because it's easy to control and fish at various depths. This lure is worth it's weight in gold! December 18, 2012
what a wonderful lure!! everyone says that this bait is best for trout, but thats not all!!! these lures have caught me bass, crappie, and bluegill, along with pumpkinseed, warmouth, and red ear. this lure catches fish and definetly has me hooked. my friend introduced me to this lure on a fishing trip where he caught over 20 fish and i caught none, all he used was a Vibrax. and now I LOVE BLUE FOX!!!!!!!!! The overall length excluding the hook is three inches (7.6cm) and the minnow body by itself is roughly 2 and 1/4 inches (5.7cm) long.

I was trout fishing with one of these in the 1/8oz rainbow trout color and caught two bass and also caught my only bass(and fish) of the day on one of these another time.
These seem to me to have better action than the Mepps and the minnow stays upright unlike the Mepps which tends to spin.

I'd say that the Mepps is better, the trailer is soft, so the bass might hold on longer. But I trust the rapala product more, and it works great.

Both are good, depending of the condition of the water. Comet minos for cristal clear waters and vibrax spinner for milky, cloudy or windy conditions.
