The tight minnow action of the balsa wood Blue Fox® Vibrax® Minnow Spin® combined with the enticing flash of an in-line spinner makes this a deadly combination.

Blue Fox Vibrax Minnow Spin 4.7 5 59 59
A very effective lure. I was initially worried that the lure body would not ride upright or may spin on the retrieve but it does not. The great design and construction of this lure makes it ride true and presents a very lifelike baitfish profile. The detail and quality are outstanding and the blade spins freely, even at a slow retrieve speed. The first time I used this lure I was only fooling around trying to see what it did in the water casting next to shore and I caught two bass with the 1/8 ounce rainbow trout pattern. I actually intend to use that lure for trout, so I bought another in silver for bass fishing because if I can catch fish with it when I am not actually trying, who knows what it will catch when I am? Catches Them All I've caught everything from Rock Bass and Sunfish to Northern Pike on these.I use a varity of sizes and colors and they all work.My best catch on one of these was a 37 inch Pike in a stream on a 7/16 Firetiger.Several Smallies from 3 to 4 pounds. I keep some of these in every tackle box. April 29, 2008
Vibrax Minnows Rock I have caught more fish with the Vibrax Minnow than any other lure I own. I have caught Bass, Crappie,Pickerel and bluegill on this lure. With this lure i consistently catch more fish than anybody i fish with. I highly recommend this lure for any freshwater fishing. January 13, 2007
What a lure!!!! I have found this lure to be a great temptation to several species of freshwater fish. I mainly use it for rainbow and brown trout at this time, but I have also caught bass, crappie, bluegill, carp, drum, skip-jack, white bass, stripe bass, etc. I use the small 1/8 oz. brown trout pattern and use it in creeks and where the mouth of the creek enters the river. The only change I made in the lure was to put a smaller treble hook on it. I like to catch and release the trout and I am able to do this, without endangering the fish, with this lure. A:
The overall length excluding the hook is three inches (7.6cm) and the minnow body by itself is roughly 2 and 1/4 inches (5.7cm) long.

I was trout fishing with one of these in the 1/8oz rainbow trout color and caught two bass and also caught my only bass(and fish) of the day on one of these another time.
These seem to me to have better action than the Mepps and the minnow stays upright unlike the Mepps which tends to spin.

I'd say that the Mepps is better, the trailer is soft, so the bass might hold on longer. But I trust the rapala product more, and it works great.

Both are good, depending of the condition of the water. Comet minos for cristal clear waters and vibrax spinner for milky, cloudy or windy conditions.
