The tight minnow action of the balsa wood Blue Fox® Vibrax® Minnow Spin® combined with the enticing flash of an in-line spinner makes this a deadly combination.

Blue Fox Vibrax Minnow Spin 4.7 5 59 59
Lost now Found Fisherman I hadn't fished for over 25 years, and my 13yr old daughter asked me to take her fishing, this was in 2005. My brother loaned us some of his equipment, along with (3) 1/8oz Vibrax Minnow Spins, in the Brown Trout coloration. Boy did we have fun using these spinner baits. In about four hours we caught, Largemouth, Smallmouth, Crappie, Bluegill, some Yellow Perch, a Walleye here and there, even a Rainbow trout. These are one of our stanby lures everytime we go out NOW. When things get boring, just slap one on your line and have fun. August 27, 2007
Great lure The reason that I wouldn't recommend this lure to a friend is because it works so well, and I want all of the fish for myself. Honestly, I have had two of these in my box for the past five or six years. They are durable, easy to use, but most of all they catch fish. I have caught blue gill, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, rock bass, northern pike and perch on this lure. The leaf spins easily even when the lure is moving slowly. It sinks nicely too. One of the two, which I have used for years, is just now starting to show wear. I have had no luck finding these in stores, so I was glad to find them online at Bass Pro. March 5, 2010
Blue Fox Vibrax Minnow Spin The Vibrax Minnow Spin is an excellent lure for cold water trout. It has given me excellent results in shallow and deep lakes. The lure is almost guaranteed to bring in all sizes of trout, of any species from brown to rainbows. I try other lures in an attempt to catch fish, its a game with me, it seems a lure will catch fish one day at a specific time of day and won't work the next. The Blue Fox Vibrax Minnow Spin catches fish in any weather, or time of day. April 28, 2006
Blue Fox Minnow Spin I never fish for bass without it. It is my go to lure when nothing else works. I used in in FL, PA, DE, and NJ and it catches fish everywhere. I like the minnow and firetiger colors depending on the clarity of the water and the time of year. It will almost always produce fish. I reel it steady and jerk it occasionally to give it lifelike action. I will also stop it abruptly and this at times will cause a strike. These lures are a must have. Unfortunately, they stopped making the larger size and only produce up to the 1/4 oz. I caught smallies on the bigger version that is no longer sold. Please bring them back! October 15, 2010

The overall length excluding the hook is three inches (7.6cm) and the minnow body by itself is roughly 2 and 1/4 inches (5.7cm) long.

I was trout fishing with one of these in the 1/8oz rainbow trout color and caught two bass and also caught my only bass(and fish) of the day on one of these another time.
These seem to me to have better action than the Mepps and the minnow stays upright unlike the Mepps which tends to spin.

I'd say that the Mepps is better, the trailer is soft, so the bass might hold on longer. But I trust the rapala product more, and it works great.

Both are good, depending of the condition of the water. Comet minos for cristal clear waters and vibrax spinner for milky, cloudy or windy conditions.
