I have used this a couple of times and I'm really not seeing much of a difference out of it. Maybe I haven't used it enough? I will keep trying it, I keep it in my tackle box. Maybe in the future I will change my opinion, but as of now, not very impressed with it. Also, I fish ultralight, maybe that has something to do with it??

Both, it makes cleaning a reel much easier if you spray it on the reel before you go fishing. And as far as line goes, I spray the line on all of my reels because it retards line memory "makes it limper" and if you do get a backlash, it seems easier to pick out. I keep a bottle/can on hand all the time. My advice is to buy a can/bottle and see for yourself, You'll be glad you did.
yes it will it keeps my line white instead of the green moss drying and staining my line this stuff keeps it white as snow wen its on the reel line still disapears wen it hits the water will help u cast a little further and helps with bird nest to
You can wipe your boat down with this after you pull it out of the water just spray a little on the rag, the bottle even says you can use it on the boat. It doesnt hurt the finish or gel coat. I spayed some in one spot it has been there for one week now in the sun and 100 degree weather and has done nothing to the boat, finish,or gel coat.
Hey, unless you expect a reel magic scientist to answer your question, you're not gonna know the exact main ingrediants of reel magic. What i can tell you though, is that it doesnt stain, spot, fade, or deteriorate anything on my boat, and/or tackle. I use this stuff on everything. I use it to lubricate my line and reels, as well as rod guides. You can use it for cleaning your boat, electronics screens ON your boat, and a handfull of other things. All this basically is is a oderless, residue free, and colorless lubricant or oil. Very well worth the money.
