Use this product on my spool, guides and the entire reel. Not sure if it scares away fish but it's still cold in the the northeast so...But it does help with casting distance and line memory. I use it on mono and braid and before and after every time out.

I am always looking for some way to increase my casting distance. This product did the trick. Went from going 50 yards out with a light cast to about 75 yards. I use it with braid which is great to cast with and this stuff made it better.

I started using flurocarbon last year and had alot of trouble with my line being stiff and not coming off the spool freely. Since I started using this product I have not had any problems. Even works well in cold weather. I use it on Nanofil line too.......

The description all describes how it works on lines BUT what about the reel?Answers

Both, it makes cleaning a reel much easier if you spray it on the reel before you go fishing. And as far as line goes, I spray the line on all of my reels because it retards line memory "makes it limper" and if you do get a backlash, it seems easier to pick out. I keep a bottle/can on hand all the time. My advice is to buy a can/bottle and see for yourself, You'll be glad you did.Top 250 Contributor

I haven't experienced any problems using it in my boat.Top 250 Contributor

You can wipe your boat down with this after you pull it out of the water just spray a little on the rag, the bottle even says you can use it on the boat. It doesnt hurt the finish or gel coat. I spayed some in one spot it has been there for one week now in the sun and 100 degree weather and has done nothing to the boat, finish,or gel coat.A:Â
Hey, unless you expect a reel magic scientist to answer your question, you're not gonna know the exact main ingrediants of reel magic. What i can tell you though, is that it doesnt stain, spot, fade, or deteriorate anything on my boat, and/or tackle. I use this stuff on everything. I use it to lubricate my line and reels, as well as rod guides. You can use it for cleaning your boat, electronics screens ON your boat, and a handfull of other things. All this basically is is a oderless, residue free, and colorless lubricant or oil. Very well worth the money.1 of 1
