BlackOut Dual Jaw Bow Release
SNAPPED AFTER 20 Shots
I was hoping that this release would make a good addition to my new Diamond Carbon Cure bow. WRONG. I was sighting in my bow and slinging arrows from 10 to 40 yards. After about 20 arrows downrange, I pull back and then....plink....the release trigger snaps off and almost drive fires my new bow. Wasn't very happy at all. The screw that mounts through the lever snapped clean in to. The release itself is very strong and light. Maybe if they get stronger thicker allen screws this wouldn't happen. I returned it to my local Bass Pro in Prattville, AL and upgraded to a different release.

I like it!
I did a bit of research before buying this release. I knew they exactly the same as the Scott Shark, other than color (~$70). I got mine for $40. I like the adjustable trigger and that it can be adjusted for length. Adjustments are easy to make and it has worked flawlessly for me thus far.

Great economical release!
I went to BPS today with all intentions of purchasing a Scott Shark dual caliper release at full price. When I arrived, the release was on sale for $49.99. Awesome! They were sold out...
I asked if they could do a substitution of another Scott release for the same price. No.
The salesperson then showed me the Blackout release and said that Scott makes it but then BPS puts their name on it. It's is the exact same release as the Shark just different colors. I used it today and it is a great release with an adjustable hair trigger. So satisfied with this purchase! It was also only $39.99. Thanks Bass Pro!
