BlackHorn 209® High Performance Muzzleloading Powder
Blackhorn 209 is the best powder I have ever used. I use to shoot 777 both powder and pellets.
With Blackhorn the accuracy improved to less than an inch with 110 gr and 250 Gr bullets.
Easy clean up when compared to 777, plus, no powder burn ring either! No, brushing out of the barrel needed, just swab clean!
A dear friend who is a professional shooter said "This is a Game Changer" and he is correct!
The best powder ever!

I switched to BlackHorn 209 after using 777 and White Hots. It is much easier to load. I would have too swab after every shoot with them.
I use this in my Acura with Winchester 209 primers.
I can shoot about 8 times before I clean with easy loading.
It has gone bang every time. I have heard from others that said it would not ignite in their rifles. Sorry for them because it makes an inline even easier.

Best propellant I've used!
This is by far the best propellant I've used. I can fire 20+ shots without cleaning between shots, with no noticeable effect on accuracy. No crud ring and extremely easy to clean.
Also, it doesn't draw moisture and clump together in long term storage (a problem I've had with Pyrodex). Granted, I could've taken better measures to store in a drier area, but with Blackhorn, I don't need to bother.
Don't forget to use regular shotshell primers instead of muzzleloading shotshell primers. I've had great luck with CCI 209M primers. Using 90 grs with a 250 gr TC Shockwave, I usually get 1 - 2 inch groups at 100 yds.

Blackhorn 209 Powder
This stuff is fantastic!!!.
You use less to produce the same velocity of the powder pellets and a lot less mess to cleanup later.
No more swabbing the barrel after each shoot.
Ballistics is consistent, within 20 ft/sec from shot to shot.
It does take a little more time than just dropping a preformed pellet down the barrel, but the results are well worth it.
Double check to make sure you have the right nipple on your rifle before use this powder.

I have shot at least 10 times before cleaning, at least! No change in accuracy either! (with 777 it was 3 or 4 max before I could not seat the bullet because of the powder burn ring) Great powder, try it you will more than like it, you'll love it!
I shot 12 consecutive shots without swabbing or cleaning the bore in any way. The twelfth had a little resistance but not much. Might have been able to do one or two more but they would have been pretty tight. I did have a significant problem trying to use this powder in a traditional powder flask and powder measure. Would not flow out of the spout!
