BLACKHAWK!® Sportster SERPA Handgun Holsters
This holster was exactly what I was looking for. I had originally purchased a plastic/leather one for around the same price and it could never come close to matching the function of my Blackhawk! My prior holster had no release button for drawing and I was constantly worried about my movements. The seating of my pistol when running and whether or not I was knocked down or fell and it coming out was ALWAYS in the back of my mind. Rapid/evasive movement is a major part of my job and all of these concerns vanished once I made this purchase. Thank you Blackhawk! and thank you Bass Pro.

The holster itself is great, it holds my 1911 firmly in place and it is an easy drawing holster. The retention release button is perfectly placed for quick activation. The over all construction is solid. My only "knock" against it is that it comes with the paddle attachment only and I find it moves around a bit. If I want the belt attachment then I have to buy it seperately. I would like to see it included with both options and I would be wiling to pay a little more for it if it did but I guess that is more feedback for BlackHawk then Bass Pro Shop.

This holster is great for my Glock. Fits comfortably and is very practical for open carry. I would not recommend it if you are looking for a good conceal carry holster.

I had another holster that I had made for my Ruger SR9c and I had to wait a little over two weeks to get it. I really wasn't happy with it after getting it. I had to hold the holster with my left hand in order to get the gun out of the holster. A friend of mine bought this one and liked it, so I tried it out. I was extremely impressed. After I got back from our hunting trip I sent my holster back and ordered the Blackhawk Serpa. My gun pulls out of the holster very easily and locks back in place, which I really like. Having the gun lock in place is a very nice feature. Just push the release and the gun comes out easily and your finger is in the safe position. I also like being able to adjust the holster to the size of my belt and tilt the holster at the angle that I prefer.
I haven't tried the paddle, don't know if I will use it. I'm really happy with the holster the way I have it set up now.
