I had to cross reference with a couple other sites but to save everyone a little time I am confirming that the Springfield XD model does indeed fit the XDM. This fits my XDM 3.8 like a glove and is very comfortable. The release catch is adjustable, it will be tuned for your model but if for some reason it is off you can adjust it easily.
This is a concealed-carry holster and as such will not work with weapon-mounted lights or lasers unless they are behind the trigger housing. Anything mounted to the front rail will not fit in this holster.
This holster also comes with two screws so that you can make it where you must run your belt through it instead of slipping it over your belt/trousers.
Quick but secure release won't leave you fumbling under duress.
I have combat experience in the military and as a civilian I stick with BlackHawk when available. Thoughtfully engineered, Marine approved!

once gun is in holster, it will not move from it unless you want it to. i like the added button/lever to assist in quick removal if needed as i have a similar product for a different hand gun without a locking lever and it can get "stuck", for lack of a better term.

Wanted something that would ride close to the hip, FOUND IT. The finger release is perfect, lets it slide out with no restrictions. I am Left handed and the left handed model works as if it is molded to the body. Buy it!!

It fits my standard xd 45 and my subcompact 40 but it's not great for concealed carry. At least not in Florida where jackets only get worn 2 or 3 days of the year.
