I really like this holster. It hold my Springfield Armory XD .40 cal like a glove and locks tight. However, with a simple press of the side release, the pistol is drawn with ease.
This is listed as a concealment holster, although I would find this a challenge given the size of the pistol. This is more a product of the pistol than the holster though.
I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I have purchased three Blackhawk CQC holsters and love everyone of them. I ordered mine on a Sunday night and Basspro had them there Thursday by standard ground. I have the 1911 glock 23 and Springfield XD all performing flawlessly. I highly recommend, 5 stars, two thumbs up.

Purchased this holster for concealment of my Glock 27. It offers good concealment but is most comfortable if a tee shirt is worn between the holster and your outer garment

I got this holster for my Glock 17 and am very pleased with it. The release button is in the perfect position for a safe draw and the paddle part is comfortable against my side. Other reviewers complain about the retention system not being able to keep someone from taking the gun from you but if it were anymore "retained" you would have trouble drawing it yourself.
