My friends & I travel in 5th Wheel RV's. We like to fish and needed a way to carry our rods safely. These hangers filled the bill. Mounted them on the wall of the storage space under the trailer. Carried the rods & reels with no problem. Buy these and you can't go wrong.
We all carry 2 pcs rods and they freshwater rods fit into the holder fine. The saltwater rods needs a different set up.

When you finally break down and purchase those expensive crappie rods you need a way to store and protect them. These are the best I have ever had. Keeps the rods safe and off the floor so you don't step on them.

I use these in the cabin in my walk around cuddly and also in my truck cap. Members of my boat club recommended and I do also. 3rd batch I purchased .

Put these on my boat. I had limited walk around room and needed something to hold the rods tight against the sides of the boat. They work great. Very secure and handy. I use them to hold my heavy trolling rods as well as my jigging rods. Used them once on the ocean. They perfromed well as I pounded the waves.

Yes but the holders come 2 to a package. You will need 1 package per heavy saltwater rod. Use the big holders as the holder for the rod tip might not be big enough.Answers

Probably some of the round handle plastic type could be. Not the oval wood ones.A:Â
The latch end for the rod butt end would probably work well. The rod tip end will definitely not work. I never measured the actual ID of the latch end but they are certainly over 1 inch in diameter. They have enough room for my aluminum shaft paddles I carry on my boat. For the price they would be worth trying.1 of 1
