I just used this oil to refinish my Grandfather's Sears and Roebuck shotgun made in the 50's. Lemme tell ya, it made it look like new. First, I removed what varnish was left on the stock with varnish remover, washed it off, sanded it with 220 and then 400 grit paper, wiped it off, and applied the oil. I put on 4 coats of it, buffing with steel wool after each (except for the last one). This stuff made that 60 year old walnut look just as good as a high dollar rifle.

Excellent product, I have used it for about 20 years and have had very, very good results with it. It takes at least 5/6 coats to give a real good finish, light sanding or steel wool between coats.
