I finished my stock using Tru-Oil. Initially I thought the finish was a bit shiny so I followed up with this stuff. Big mistake. It left swirl marks and dull appearance after wards. I ended up reapplying another layer of Tru-Oil to get the shine back. This stuff is pretty much just a compound polish.
