I read all of the other reviews of this product and bought it, somewhat apprehensively. Once I started using, I found that it work better than advertised. Extremely easy to use on an old Mauser action and it required minimal elbow grease. I found that if you saturate your part and then add some to the 0000 Steel Wool, the bluing literally wipes off. Gentle rubbing will be required for tougher areas, but I stripped an entire receiver in about an hour - every inch of it. Great Stuff!

Purchased this product to help redo a rusted shotgun. I put this on a steel wool pad to remove the blue and rust from the barrel. It worked great for removing the blue but didn't work as well on the rust. Now the rust on the barrel is pretty deep so additional sanding was required but overall if you have light rust it works great!

I used this to remove years of dirt, rust, and corrosion on an antique gun I was refinishing and it worked excellent. Be sure and use rubber gloves as it will burn skin. It removed more rust and bad area's than I thought it could and the finished gun is now hanging on my wall.
