This Spring-Loaded Clevis Pin with Lanyard is for use with deck-mount or rail-mount bimini hinge fittings that use removable 1/4" spring-loaded clevis pins. The lanyard allows you to tether the pin to your boat to prevent loss when removed from the bimini hinge fitting. Stainless steel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bayliner185 Too short !!!!
I finally lost my first original pin on my bimini top, so I decided to get 4 of these since they have the lanyards and mount them at all 4 positions for my top braces. The problem is they are TOO SHORT!!! I cannot get the arm on the end to drop down because the pin is not long enough to go all the way through the bracket. What a huge disappointment and waste of time! Sending them back in the morning. I have found longer ones online, will get them instead.

we remounted our biminy with metal brackets to the boat and ordered these pins so we could remove the biminy easily when we wanted.

Attach these handy little things, using a small stainless steel screw, anywhere close to the hinge that holds the bimini top to the boat, and you will never drop a pin in the lake again.
I've lost probably 6 pins before I finally bought these with the lanyard attached.
I definitely recommend this pin for your bimini top!
