I like the rod, good weight and balance. I think it needs more secure mount. like reel, it works good. may need heavier line for lqrger fish!!!!

not bad of a rod and reel combo. i bought because of the price on sale. if you have to pay regular price, there is better combos out there. one complaint about it is the drag is kinda weird
