Bill Dance Catfish Baitcast Reels feature the classic round reel design for efficient power. A high-capacity aluminum spool lets you load up with bigger line, and the strong power handle maximizes torque to help you subdue big cats, stripers, or gar. The synchronous level wind makes braid or mono lay regularly on the spool for easier casts and less tangles, and the strong stainless reel foot provides a positive connection to your Bill Dance rod.

The Bill Dance Catfish Rods feature heavy catfish actions in a durable, ultra-powerful E glass blank for flexible responsiveness and the power to defeat even the largest fish. Strong, double-footed guide frames are ringed with highly abrasion-resistant ceramic guides, and the comfortable EVA grips let you fight to the finish with less fatigue.
Rated 1.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK for big ones This is a really big combo to handle, especially in a boat. I have 30 lb mono on mine with no reel issues as reported in other reviews. This combo is made for big fish min. > 10lb. Any fish smaller than won't be much fun on this rig. December 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sad reel!!! I wrote almost the same review 1 year ago about not reeling after just 3 casts. July 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth $5 broke after 3 casts This has the worst reel on it that I have ever seen! I seriously casted it 3 times and the gears stripped out. I am sending it in for its one year warranty if I can find the receipt so we will see if they at least stand behind their product. Never thought I would need the receipt have had good luck with Quantum in the past...who would think I would only get three casts out of a reel with Bill Dances name on it? May 23, 2013
