We have been fishing this hole for a week and using every thing from livers to nugget bait and been doing decent catching 5-8lb blue cat but not being able to cast larger bait without it flying off. I went and bought the Spring Hook now I can throw bigger pieces of bait out with no problem. we were out maybe 10 minutes and i decided to use the new hook and a piece of large liver within 5 minutes i saw the pole bend down hard then a couple hits and when it bent again I set the 24.6 lb blue in the upper lip. WHAT A FIGHT.

Love these hooks, springs hold tight and don't slip down the hook like a lot of others.
They hold stink bait better than the other products on the market also. Need a larger variety of sizes though.

this spring hook holds bait great. caught lots of catfish on these hooks. only thing is it needs more choice of sizes. but works great.
