This striking Big Sky Carvers King of Bucks Hole in the Horn Buck Bronze Bust showcases the magnificent buck found dead in Portage, Ohio, in 1940. It is believed that the hole in the horn may have been caused by it becoming wedged under a fence. This buck is one of only four to score over 300 B&C points. Composed of fine resin blends, this Big Sky Carvers Buck Bust is finished with hand-applied patinas and metallic paint that accent the subtle details of the work. A King of Bucks medallion is imbedded in the sculpture base and a historic description of the buck typed on gold foil is featured on the bottom. Measures 10.63”W x 6”D x 13”H. Color: Bronze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Reproduction Purchase This is an excellent bronze bust reproduction of this Ohio Non-Typical Whitetail. Very accurate, beautifully done. It is not a minature reproduction on a large base, but one that be well seen from even across the room. Thorough description under the base on the details of how this Whitetail was obtained. Would be a recommended purchase for anyone who collects and appreciates quality wildlife statues/artwork. Anyone would be highly satisfied with this artwork on their shelf. March 13, 2013
