I've used the wooden one in the past. It's easy to use, has a good tone and works good for a confidence call. lacks in range a little compared to some but makes up for it in it's sound. I decided to get this one instead of the wood because I figure this one will last a little longer. Over all a good choice, especially for a beginner.

How do you get this call to sound like a goose i tryed it out and my other calls smoke it out of the water?

This call you want to use a little less lung power in it, sort of finesse it. Also include a low vocal sound into it and break into a little more stern blow. After getting the basic goose tone, you can add to it from there. Hopefully this helps a little and good luckA:Â
I just disassemble my calls and dry the reed tone broad and wedgeA:Â
Try blowing it easy 1 second then hard one second. If that does not work try tuning it per dirrections.A:Â
its all about hand placement, if your hands not in the right spot it'll sound like a party horn.A:Â
just practice, watch geese or get a video. it will sound great if you practice.1 of 1
