Big Norm Fish Scaler
Great tool to have
A friend was using a fish scaler like I had never seen so I tried it out by helping him clean some fish. I was amazed how well it took off the scales and knew I had to have one. the 19 beads on the scaler really works great and it didn't hurt when it hit against my hand. Would recommend this scaler to any fisherman and have already showed it to many of them.

Get rid of the spoon!!
This works so much better than an old spoon or knife. The scales do not fly as much and it does not fatigue your hand so much. Easy to clean and removes large patches of scales at a time. Along the back and bottom of the fish it is a little big and sometimes difficult to remove the scales but overall a great product.

not as good as the "magic fish scaler"
i had a magic fish scaler that i bought from another store. that fish scaler is awesome! somehow, i lost it and saw the big norm fish scaler...it looks almost just like the magic fish scaler so bought two of them. however, they are not the same. on the magic fish scaler, each of the heads floats independently and this makes it much more effective in preventing scales from flying. on the big norm, the heads do indeed "float" but not independently...this makes a big difference in controlling flying scales. my advice: spend a little more and get the magic fish scaler instead.

Best Device Ever for Scaling Fish
I was fishing in the keys and was about to start cleaning fish with my metal scaler when a young man told me he had something that would take those scales off in three seconds. I thought to myself, yeah right. When I tried this strange looking device, I was amazed as to just how quick and easy scaling a fish was. There were no scales flying everywhere, like when using the good ole' fork. I should have had one of these years ago. I was so impressed, I don't know how many people I told about this thing. That's why I have two on order now. Definitely worth picking one up
