Bought this a few weeks ago and works great! Very easy to use and it certainly minimizes the mess. No scales flying into my eyes and its easy to wash.

I haven't used it yet. I bought it based on the reviews, had a gift card & free shipping. Shipped fast. Personally, based on how it's made, I think it'll work as described by others. Can't wait for my next free day to fish and try it. Of course, gotta catch something first.

It is a great scaler and really does the trick. I only wish that it bore its name "Big Norm" on the scaler itself, because my name is "Norm". Why have a product if you don't show its name?

It works great on trout. I went trout fishing and caught my limit then cleaned them with the big norm fish scaler in just a couple of minutes.A:
i am assuming if it has scales it will work. i fish for redfish but i fillet all my reds but next time i will try it on a couple of reds to see how it works. i know it works on speckled, white trout, brem, sunperch ,crappie. have a great day1 of 1
